My name is Daniel Padilla. I am the video game designer for Desolation. I am a second year student of Gameheads and have been able to apply the skill set that I've aquired from being in the program to my college academics. I am also entering my second year in College of Alameda with a major in Mathetics. I plan on transfering to a UC such as Berkeley or Santa Cruz in order to double major in computer science and mathemtics. My end goal is to work in the video game industry as a video game designer or programmer.

I am currently  a third year at college of Alameda, majoring in computer science; yet, I am planning on transferring into U.C. Santa Cruz to obtain a bachelor's degree  in Computer Game Science by Fall 2017. Over these three years, I have taken programming classes in C++, Java and Python. In addition to these, I took classes on Coursera in Game Design, creating three projects: Solar System Simulation, Roller Madness, and Box Shooter. I am also a first year student in Gameheads, a organization that teaches game design, and the programmer for the E.G. team on the game Desolation.
